El Sabio Luna - Toro 6" by 52 ring gauge
El Sabio Luna
A wrapper does not need to be smooth to be honored.
The Cameroon leaf carries some roughness in the hand, and its sweetness arrives first, followed by spice, then cedar. Nothing is hidden beneath this exotic African leaf.
Inside, three leaves keep their places. The Seco from Jalapa holds the earth steady. The Ligero from Condega carries the strength. The Viso from Ometepe brings the richness and a trace of smoke that lingers after the rest has gone quiet. Each one waits its turn.
The binder, grown in Indonesia, asks for nothing but an even burn, and gives it.
To smoke El Sabio Luna is to let each part speak in its time, and to be satisfied only when all of them have.
